The static Atomics.store() method stores a given value at the given position in the array and returns that value. This atomic operation guarantees that no other write happens until the modified value is written back.
Syntax
Atomics.store(typedArray, index, value)
Parameters
typedArray- A shared integer typed array. One of
Int8Array,Uint8Array,Int16Array,Uint16Array,Int32Array, orUint32Array. index- The position in the
typedArrayto store avaluein. value- The number to store.
Return value
The value that has been stored.
Exceptions
- Throws a
TypeError, iftypedArrayis not one of the allowed integer types. - Throws a
TypeError, iftypedArrayis not a shared typed array type. - Throws a
RangeError, ifindexis out of bounds in thetypedArray.
