CredentialsContainer.requireUserMediation()

This is an experimental technology
Because this technology's specification has not stabilized, check the compatibility table for usage in various browsers. Also note that the syntax and behavior of an experimental technology is subject to change in future versions of browsers as the specification changes.

The requireUserMediation() method of the CredentialsContainer needs intervention from the user, checking returned credentials, before the interface returns an empty Promise. Mediation varies by origin, and is an added check point of browser stored credentials, informing a user of an account login status.

You might call this method after a user signs out of a website, ensuring this user's login information is not automatically passed on the next site visit.

Syntax

CredentialsContainer.requireUserMediation().then(function() { ... })

Parameters

None.

Returns

An empty Promise.
