WifiManager.connectionInformation

This API is available on Firefox OS for internal applications only.

Summary

The connectionInformation property value provides extra information about the current connection.

The value of that property is updated each time the connectionInfoUpdate event is triggered.

Syntax

var info = navigator.mozWifiManager.connectionInformation

Value

Return an object with the following properties:

signalStrength Read only
A number indicating the absolute strength of the signal in dBm.
relSignalStrength Read only
A number in the range [0,100] indicating the relative strength of the signal.
linkSpeed Read only
A number representing link speed in Mb/s.
ipAddress Read only
A string representing the IP address of the device in the dotted quad format.
