The Credential interface of the the Credential Management API provides information about an entity as a prerequisite to a trust decision.

Properties

Credential.iconURL Read only: Returns a DOMString containing the URL of an image for the credential. The URL must be from a secure context.
Credential.id Read only: Returns a DOMString containing the credential's identifier. This might be any one of a GUID, username, or email address.
Credential.name Read only: Returns a DOMString containing a name associated with the credential. This is intended to be a human-readable public name.
Credential.type Read only: Returns a DOMString containing the credential's type. Valid values are password and federated.
