pageAction.show()

Shows the page action for a given tab. The page action is shown whenever the given tab is the active tab.

Syntax

browser.pageAction.show(
  tabId // integer
)

Parameters

tabId
integer. The ID of the tab for which you want to show the page action.

1. The 'tabId' parameter is ignored, and the page action is shown for all tabs.

Examples

This example shows the page action for the active tab when the user selects a context menu item. Note that you'll need the contextMenus permission in your manifest to create context menu items.
