The broker configuration life cycle shown in this figure starts with the tasks of creating and then enabling the broker configuration. After these tasks, the figure shows a continuous circle within which the following tasks typically occur on an ongoing basis in the broker configuration: updating database properties, monitoring and tuning the configuration, making state, role, or protection mode changes. All of the tasks shown in the figure are described in detail in the following text.
