The application and administrative users, who connect to the Oracle database using either password, Kerberos, or PKI authentication.
From the Oracle Database, a connection to the Microsoft Active Directory. The Active Directory has been enabled with password filters using Oracle Filter.
Shared database users and database roles are mapped to Active Directory groups.
The Active Directory now can be used for authentication, user management, account policy management, and group assignments of the shared users, roles, and groups.
