NUMTOYMINTERVAL converts a number to an INTERVAL YEAR TO MONTH data type.

Syntax

NUMTOYMINTERVAL(n, 'interval_unit')

Arguments

n can be any numeric expression.

interval_unit is a text expression that specifies the units. It must resolve to one of the following values:

• YEAR

• MONTH

These values are case insensitive.

Example

NUMTOYMINTERVAL(18, 'MONTH') returns the value +01-06.
